OUR SPACE
THERE'S NO PLACE LIKE HOME
Wraith Games is located in Hamilton, OH, United States. More specifically, we’re located at:

6 South 2nd Street
Ste. 205
Hamilton, OH, USA 45011

Hamilton is the 10th largest city in Ohio and the only to own all four of its utilities. 60% of its power is hydroelectric, created by 2 dams on the Ohio River. This green source of power is one of the main reasons Wraith Games has stayed in our home of Hamilton.

Early in 2025, we moved to what we call “Studio 3.0” on the 2nd floor of the historic Rentschler Building (also sometimes called the “KeyBank Building”), on the corner of High and 2nd Street in the Downtown/CBD neighborhood of Hamilton.

Constructed in 1906, the Beaux-Arts style building was designed by Peters, Burns and Pretzinger, and George Barkman for George Adam Rentschler (nicknamed 'Ol Adam), a well-known German-American businessman here in Hamilton.

At the time of construction, the newspaper “Republican News” boasted that it was “one of the finest office buildings in the United States” and, at the time, was the tallest building in Hamilton. The eight story building was constructed at a cost of $300,000 (adjusted for inflation, that would have been $10,701,708 USD in 2025) and features a buff brick exterior with limestone trim, marble staircase & hallways, solid oak doors, and its original brass door hardware!

The building is considered a “contributing structure” to the “Hamilton Downtown Historic District”, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2016.

Our studio space is roughly 1000 sq/ft in total and takes up both units 205 & 206, with 205 serving as a full bullpen and conference room, with 206 being used primarily as a break room.

Studio 1.0 was at “The Hamilton Mill”/”Hamilton Municipal Building” and, while we started as a single ~200 sq/ft room, we expanded to over 2k sq/ft before we left. Studio 2.0 at “The Benison”, where we occupied through the second half of the pandemic, was, likewise ~200 sq/ft. This means that 3.0 is right in the middle of the too large 1.0 and the too small 2.0.

Both former spaces are roughly 3 blocks away from Studio 3.0, as well!

Studio 3.0 features many of the same turn of the century design principles as both Studio 1.0 & 2.0, which allowed us to keep a sense of continuity between the studios which has been engrained as part of our own general style as well.

Our bullpen features 4 sit-stand desks for our artists and programmers, as well as an 8-person sit-stand conference table which is also used by Members who don’t need dedicated desk space instead allowing for drop-in working. Near the conference table, we also have an 8-foot glass white board, 7-foot greenscreen, and flat screen TV for meetings.

The bullpen was modeled after the design of our Studio 2.0, featuring a four-color purple mountain mural (which itself was based on an earlier grey mountain mural in Studio 1.0’s bullpen, itself inspired by the former “Checkpoint” set used by internet comedy troupe, Loading Ready Run). The black roller shades were inspired by artist Stevie Dorgan’s shades in her Studio 1.0 office, and the large mural at the entrance was originally designed for a potential Studio 2.0 which fell through.

The break room features a full kitchenette, cafe table, chairs, TV, and sofa. Its colors are directly taken from Studio 1.0’s initial office, using the exact same paint swatches and some of the same furniture. The orange roller shades in that space, while planned for Studio 1.0, never came to fruition. However, they were originally inspired by Bossa Game Studios in the UK.

Around the studio, we have decorated the space with our own branded merchandise, as well as pieces of media that inspire us, awards for our games, and gifts from friends and colleagues across the industry.
