Hey all! It’s been a while since our last post (about a year, if I remember correctly). We’ve started doing our blog posts over on our website, so you guy’s have missed a bit if you’ve not been following us over there or on social media. I wanted to give all you wonderful people an update on the project… and I’ve gotta say, it’s a BIG one! Try not to flip out!
Let’s start with the release info. As many of you know, we were picked up by Ratalaika Games for world-wide publishing. Because of this, we’re proud to say that we have an expanded list of consoles. Now we’re releasing on (deep breath) Switch, Wii U (yes, still), 3DS, PS4, PS Vita, Xbox One, PC, Mac, Linux (on Steam, and likely more distributors), iOS, Android, Fire OS, and even Windows Phone! We’re translating into 10 different languages and are releasing on all those platforms SAME DAY! No word yet on if we’ll have cross-platform features, but we’re trying our hardest!
Now, we’re also making plans for some other release platforms (some… “retro” ones), but we are 100% confirmed for an actual Arcade machine release right off the bat! We’ve dabbled with arcade cabinets before with our last game, Radarkanoid, which was available exclusively on arcade and web; but we’re scaling that up for Collapsus.
We’ve also been working on our list of features! We’ve really expanded them since last time! Here’s what to expect:

Innovative “adaptive soundtrack” by award-winning chiptune artist, Glenntai
And (as always), no ads, no in-app purchases, and free content updates (our planned content updates nearly DOUBLE all the content listed above)!

It’s a pretty substantial increase, if we do say so ourselves! We’re not the only ones who think so… we’ve landed quite a few awards since last time! Take a look:
One of the big reasons for that is because we’ve been hitting up ~15 events a year since 2015. Last year, we even made it to PAX East, which was a HUGE step for us. This year, we’re doing it again, but we’ve also been invited to showcase at Magfest in January and are also a part of the Kind Funny Games Showcase over on Twitch this Saturday!
While at all these events, we’ve not just been getting awards, but giving them too! We’ve held 3 Collapsus tournaments this past year. It’s really helped us to hone Battle Mode into something amazing! We are for surerunning official tournaments at Magfest & Ohayocon in January as well! With enough of a push, we hope to break into the eSports scene!
It’s been a LONG road, but we’re hopefully finishing up soon! During this past year we’ve also completed the Galatune Card Game companion app, and expanded our studio space from that cramped little 300 sq/f to 2000 sq/f! We’re growing fast, but Collapsus is still not quite out yet. Let’s fix that! After Collapsus, we’re working on a remaster of Radarkanoid for consoles, and then Cave Worm and Burst Lancer! We’ve really got our hands full… but it’s been a great ride and we can’t wait for more!
