Today’s blog post isn’t very long, but it’s very important! Today, we’re announcing that we’ll be at the awesome Indy PopCon June 17 – 19, 2016 at the Indiana Convention Center!
There's tons of stuff to do, like there interactive exhibits and great panels as well as tons of great celebrity guests like Karen Gillan from Doctor Who, famous voice actors like Tara Strong, Jennifer Hale, Nolan North, and Charles Martinet. Ninja Sex Party, the cast of the Nostalgia Critic, and the cast of RWBY as well as many, many more! Take a look at the complete guest list here:
We won’t be alone. There will be several other developers there and some great charities, to boot (including the ever-awesome AbleGamers!). You won’t want to miss out!
We’re trying our hardest to bring three playable demos with us as well as a bit of swag for you to take home, but we’ll really only know how those play out a bit closer to the date. That being said, we wanted to give you all a heads up that this will be a little different from our previous appearances, so here’s a little info on that as well:
Thorne, Kristy, Steve, and I will unfortunately not be able to make it this time around, which is especially odd for me since I’ve been at literally all of our appearances thus far. See, Thorne, Kristy, and I made plans a few months ago to be at Origins Game Fair in Columbus that week, not as guests or exhibitor, but as volunteer staff. This is something that we can’t really back out of. Steve, likewise, can’t make it either.
Don’t fret, though, two of our other team members, Adam, and Eric (of Nerdyish Things) will be there! Adam has handled conventions before, though not with us and many of you probably remember Eric from a few years ago when he did A&G Ohio with us (and because he writes here on the blog sometimes). This is a great opportunity for them to reach out to you guys since it’s usually just a handful of us who do these events.
Who know: maybe it’ll even lead to us being able to do two events on the same day in the future (wink). Anyway, we really hope to see you all there! Cheers!
